Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in California
Recently sentenced, Any chance to appeal?
I was recently sentenced to 180 county time, but my lawyer was able to convince the judge to give me 3 weeks to find a job and qualify for work furlough. The only reason the judge gave me time was because of my interview with probation, and that aside, he would have not gave time. The reason the interview was bad in his mind was because of a misunderstanding between myself, the probation officer and incosistancies throughout the police report.
The charge is possesion with intent to dist. That asside, I have no criminal record. Do I have grounds to appeal if I can somehow fix the interview or at least, explain it?

Did your attorney come with you to the probation interview? If not, ask him to reschedule the interview and come with you this time. And try to find a job.
