small claim court case,appeal ajudgment
i evicted my tenent and kept his secuirity deposit in back pay rent and now judge has ruling topay back the security deposit+penalty. i will like to appeal it.

If the ruling was on your complaint and not a cross-complaint by the tenant, then you should ask the judge for a new trial on the basis he could only reject your claim but not award damages when not requested by the other side. You can not appeal the loss of your complaint, but can appeal any amount awarded the tenant on his cross-complaint.
As to whether you should appeal, you have not given enough information for any of us to determine what should be done.
