Legal Question in Banking Law in California

A 501c3 charity I work for paid rent for a client by check to a landlord represented by a property management

company. The property management company deposited the check and it was paid by our bank.

About a week later, an ACH transaction for the identical amount was processed by the management company and paid by our bank.

We have filed a complaint with our bank, but no response has been forthcoming for nearly three weeks now.

What should be our next step?
