Legal Question in Banking Law in California
I am appointed beneficiary for my deceased boyfriends bank acct., Can I access the bank acct. if the cause of death on the certificate is deferred? or "pending"?

The bank is going to require a certified certificate of death, in addition to your social security number and proper identification.
