Legal Question in Banking Law in California
My bank did not send me notice stating that they will be charging me every month a fee because my account has been inactive for a year. I was not even aware their was a fee like this. Do i have to pay? It feels like a trap. -Jarrod

It is a safe bet that somewhere in the fine print of your original account papers, or somewhere in a slip of paper in a statement sometime, there was a notice of this fee. Close the account and go to a better bank.
