Legal Question in Banking Law in California
my exwife opened a joint checking account using my social security number which I did not authorize. I found out because I received a debit card in the mail. i did not sign a signature card. Is this a crime and can I press charges?

Yes, it's a crime. Close the account, and check your credit report. There might be other things that she did that you don't yet know about.
