Legal Question in Banking Law in California
Financial Institution Discloses Acct info
My credit union allowed a friend of mine to deposit & withdrawal funds from my checking account without my consent or authorization. This is not a joint account. Legally, what can I do? This person now has my acct# and may also have a receipt of the transaction. I feel like this ''friend'' violated me. I also feel that my credit union completely betrayed my trust in them. Please advise.
