Legal Question in Banking Law in California
I made a deposit into my checking account through the ATM but forgot to put the check in. I noticed they corrected the deposit but also took an "EMPTY ENV FEE" for the amount of the deposit. I did not overdraft my account didn't even notice untill a few days later. Is this even legal? I bank with Chase.

This is a new one even for me. An empty envelope fee? Give me a break! Check your banking agreement.
