Legal Question in Banking Law in California
Can my past employer ask for money back after a month of reaching out to me? My past employer called me asking for over 3k back in check form to their offices. They noted that ADP refused to send them the money so they asked me to. Verbally I said sure and sent my email. Looking back at it, it seemed off putting and weird. Their offices are located in Boston while Im in California. Im unsure on what to do now.

If you received money you are not entitled to, they have two or four years to demand it back, depending on the circumstances and details.
