Legal Question in Banking Law in California
Practicing out of state
Do you have to be barred in the state you practice Bankruptcy law in if you have the bar in another state? (I am barred in MA but living in CA).

Yes. Admission to practice in any district or bankruptcy court is predicated upon admission to the state bar of where said district or bankruptcy court sits.
