Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
1. hoa has a lien on my condo for dues.
2. I am short selling, and have a buyer
3. hoa was foreclosing
4 i filed ch 7
5. do i need to file a motion to remove the HOA lien, will it follow the property into the short sale?

The lender will probably make the removal of the HOA lien a condition to accepting the short sale so yes a lien stripping motion is a good idea.
