Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
I own $7000 to my home owners association if I declare bankrrupsy can I included then in bankrrupsy.

1. You HAVE to include them.
2. If your question is whether the debt can be discharged - then generally the answer is yes, but you need to consult with a bankruptcy attorney about your specific situation and location. HAVE THEY FILED A LIEN? Other issues come up if the company has filed a lien against your property.
Also, just because you file bankruptcy does not mean you would not have to pay FUTURE HOA fees.
