Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Advisary

I filed a Ch 7 bankruptcy and an advisary was filed for what they consider fraud. I have no money to retain an attorney how can I or can I fight this alone or is there any way I can plead like a fifth ammendment?

Re: Advisary

Unfortunately pleading the fifth only prevents testimony in a criminal matter. I have no great suggestions except that you should try to defend as best you can. Get a copy of the local bankruptcy rules for your jurisdiction and follow them closely, pay attention to deadline dates, and file and serve documents as best you can. The burden of proof is on the creditor to prove his case, so you have that in your favor.
