Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Can apply for new credit before Ch 7 discharge?
I received a confirmed notice from a credit card company - and I called them and told them my situation and they said this would be a great opportunity for me to get this card. My discharge is set for the end of January, I didn't want to do anything illegal, but was unsure of this. I have no intentions of including this ''new'' card in the BK, just want to start rebuilding.

Yes, of course. You couldn't "include" this card in your bankruptcy anyway since you've already filed.
