What do you mean by "approved bankruptcy?" Did you file bankruptcy and receive a discharge? If so, and if the lender on the vehicle to which you cosigned was properly listed, then your liability should be discharged. There are, however, a few factors to look at, so you may want to contact your attorney who represented you in the bankruptcy case. If you did not have an attorney, you may wish to retain someone to review your case to make sure that you properly listed and discharged any liability you may have to them.
