Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Can my arrears be temporarily stop while I am in chapter 13 . Can they stop garnishment of my money if I file , and if possible how do I go about it ,I no its only temporary but it would help with trustee monthly payments.

What kind of arrears? Mortgage? The answer would be yes, you can actually, and would be required to, pay the arrears off in full through the life of the plan. As to the garnishment, yes - it would stop.
