Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
An attorney has prepared my paperwork for bankrupcy. That is all i paid them to do. They mailed it to me a month ago but I haven't officially filed with the court, is there a time limit for me to file. I plan on filing within a week. Is this ok or is it too late.

I think it's a mistake to file in propria persona. The information in your petition needs to be current as of the date of filing. The petition may very well have gone stale since it was completed. The Current Monthly Income, for example, must be updated every month.
