Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
bankrupcty claim
In filing a personal bankrupcty claim, if someone still owes money ($368) on a personal computer that was stolen from them almost 2 years ago, should it still be listed under Schedule B, Household items, or should it be put somewhere else? Also on the Form 8 (intention), would it be listed as surrendered, exempt?

Re: bankrupcty claim
The debt still exists so it should be listed. If the property's no longer in the debtor's possession, it can't be surrendered.
