Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

i make approximately $2100 a month on my pension, 1200 in social security.1000 on a part time job. my wife makes 800 a month on SS. If I file bankruptcy in California, will I be able to keep $45,000 in precious metals, 25,000 in stamps, and $25000 art work if I owe $90,000 in unsecured debt? I have very little equity in my house and i am 70 years old

Chances are pretty good that you would lose most of the items that you described. Part of the job of a bankruptcy attorney is you understand the exemption laws when filing for bankruptcy and informing you want might be able to keep and what you might have to give up.
