Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

bankruptcy ch 7

My bankruptcy was discharged a year ago. Around 15 credit card accounts. I was able to delete by myself 3 so far.

1 question- does it make any difference if I delete 3 or 10 accounts?

2. can bankruptcy be deleted by deleting accounts one by one? (Online Lexington law firm claims ,they do it )

Thank you very much

John

Re: bankruptcy ch 7

A bankruptcy can remain on your credit reports for up to 10 years. If debts are discharged in bankruptcy, their listing should not further adversely affect your credit, so your attempts might be superfluous. Obviously, any potential extender of credit will know you filed bankruptcy which is a big drag on your credit rating. However, since you can't file another one for eight years, you soon might be a better credit risk. Please make sure to manage your spending wisely.
