Bankruptcy cures Child Support Debt?
Male 30 yrs, father of 2, 7 and 11yrs, seperated from wife, 42K behind on child support payments. Keeps losing jobs because of state attachment of his wages for welfare payments to wife and childen.Will bankruptcy cure past debt? Other alternative?

Child support obligations are not dischargeable in bankruptcy. Your other alternative would be to seek modification of the child support order in the state family law court that issued it. You should consult with a family law attorney on that.
