My husband and I need to file business and personal bankruptcy and we are getting divorced. Which do I file first to make it easier?

Re: Bankruptcy and divorce
It's cheaper and easier for both to jointly file for bankruptcy protection before the divorce is finalized. In that way, there are no issues about who is to pay which creditor once the bankruptcy discharge is granted.
Also, you would each have to pay an attorney and file separately if you were divorced first.
