Bankruptcy Exemption Codes

Where can I obtain a copy of the exemption codes for bankruptcy. You know how they have the homestead you can exempt so much, the cars you can protect so much of the equity, and jewelry, personal property etc. I need to get a list of the exemption codes and I don't know where to get them from?

The California exemptions are set forth in the California Code of Civil Procedure, sections 703.140 et seq. and 704.100 et seq. A copy of the codes of civil procedure can be obtained from many legal publishing services. You can try West at 1-800-344-5009.
