Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Bankruptcy
If I file for bankruptcy and dont include a credit card, and the credit card company charges off that account. Do they still have a certain time period to collect that money?
Or is it completely discharged due to me filing bankruptcy?
Thanks

Re: Bankruptcy
If you file a Chapter 7 case and there are no assets administered by the Trustee, then you will be discharged from all debts, whether they were listed or not. However, any creditor not listed could still seek to re-open your bankruptcy later to object to you discharge if they have grounds to do so (such as fraud, etc.).
