Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Bankruptcy filing dismissed

I filed a individual chapter seven petition in Santa Ana, CA. in 1996, my case was dismissed due to an incomplete schedule. I never re-filed after the 180 restriction and none of my creditors made claims against me. My question is will I still have this bankruptcy on my credit for 10 years or can all the bad credit be removed since there has been no activity on the accounts in the past 7 years.

i dont know about your credit file but it is too late for them to legally collect from you.
