How do i get a wage garnishment to stop after filing bankruptcy? Its a credit card/loan that is garnishing my wages, not irs.

Send by fax and mail a copy of the bankruptcy notice to the sheriff, employer, and the attorney for the creditor along with a note. Also, file a form Notice of Stay with the court.
