Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Bankruptcy information

Just want to know if Bankruptcy can work for me. I need to get rid of a car lease that I can't pay anymore, (450 a Mo.)I just want them to take it back. and $6000 in credit card dept. I just started working again-and can't get caught up. What are the pro's and con's for me. How long will it hurt my credit, and how expensive is it to file.
