Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Bankruptcy and IRA's
would an IRA of $4000 be protected
under the bankruptcy laws as
exempt, if I am 44 yrs old and have
credit card accounts and a second
mortgage at the same financial
institution that will be included in the
bankruptcy. Is the financial
institution allowed to take my IRA
because of the other accounts going
into bankruptcy
