Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Bankruptcy Law-Will it affect my wife.

Thank you for attention,

My wife is Russian and is waiting for her Green card.

I am her sponser in addition to her husband. If I file Chapter 7 bankrupcy for credit card debt in my name will this affect my sponsership of her and adversely affect her ability to get a green card.
