Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

i have a online checking account through the online university i attend and i was not aware when i accepted the school that it was a requirement to have an account with this online bank. the school deposits the student stipends to this account . well my account is actually overdrawn approx 300 in withdrawals and check charges, but with the bank adding fees daily now instead of 3-4 hundred dollars within a months time it says i owe over two thousand in which over 1700 is overdraft charges going up every day i want to file bank ruptcy to clear that debt up will bank ruptcy clear that type of dept? the fees go up evceryday help please answer now . also i was willing to pay what the checks nand charges actually were and maybe a couple hundered as an fee for them but they say no. will bankruptcy help me
