Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Bankruptcy on record time-line
I filed a chapter 7 in 8/88 with my ex-husband. We were told it would be on our record for 7 years, were we told wrong? I'm divorced now and trying to buy a home and the bankruptcy is still on my credit report. Did I miss something?
Thanks for your help.
