Can a note secured by a title in a
divorce settlement be discharged in a
bankruptcy?

I do not believe that you can discharge marital obligations in bankruptcy. Also, the Note is secured by a Deed of Trust. A deed of trust is a lien, which cannot be discharged by bankruptcy.
