Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Bankruptcy and student loans
I had a student loan discharged in bankruptcy court three years agos. Recently, I attempted to order my school transcripts and could not because the lender had placed a financial hold on my records. Will I ever be able to access my transcripts?

I had researched this one a few years back. You may need to hire an attorney to threaten the university. What they are doing is unlawful. Depending on which chapter you filed under, they are violating the post discharge injunction against collecting a debt and can be subject to severe sanctions by the bankruptcy court.
