Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

filed ch 7 pro bono 11/20/06. creditors meeting on 12/20/06. met all requirements. have not received any notice of discharge of debts. does it take this long? could there be a problem? how can i check status of my petition?

Feel free to send me your case number and e-mail address directly and I'll check for you. Also, the BK court has a voice case management system. You can call the information line, wait for the prompt and then punch in your last name, first name, and see what comes up. In the past, I've had to write to the court clerk because my clients' discharges got lost in the shuffle.
