if beneficiary in CA declared bankruptcy do they need to contact trustee when inherit from estate in uk?

If they debtor/beneficiary receives an inheritance and the death occurs prior to the bankruptcy or withing 180 days after the bankruptcy is filed, the debtor should notify the court and trustee by filing formal written amendments disclosing the inheritance. The debtor should consult their attorney on how much of the inheritance they can keep, if any.
