Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
BK and debt to county
I do not have any income. I want to file for bankruptcy to rid myself of debt before I start over again. The county of San Diego says I owe them child support and has suspended my drivers licence. My kids are 20 and 22 years old and on their own. Will this be removed with bankruptcy as well? I can't afford this debt and I need to be able to drive to get a job here in LA.

There are certain debts which cannot be discharged in Bankruptcy, and child support is one of them. You should contact an attorney in the San Diego area in order to file the appropriate motions so that you can set up an affordable repayment plan, and get your drivers license returned to you.
