keep my car?
if I'm up for reposession on my car (I'm 4-5 months behind) and file bankruptcy, do I keep the car?

Re: keep my car?
You will only be able to keep the car if you (1) pay off the balance in full, which is called a redemption; or (2) you reach an agreement with the lender to keep making payments and not receive a discharge regarding the car debt, called a reaffirmation agreement.
