Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

I am thinking about filing chapter 7 bankruptcy because of very high balances on credit card bills. I also had a house that foreclosed Dec. 2007. I looked through the loan documents after receiving advice from a realtor because I wanted to try to do a short sale during the foreclosure process and noticed the loan officer inflated my income and fabricated assets such as cars that I really didn't own in the loan documents. I swear I didn't know and agree to this and didn't even know to look for this when signing. Will the judge automatically dismiss my chapter 7 bk case because they think I was being fraudulent?

Re: Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

I doubt it. The house has been foreclosed, so you would not owe the first mortgage lender anything, anyway. Please contact me if you would like an attorney's assistance.
