Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Chapter 7 BK

I have $15K in credit card debt. I make $15.00 an hour and just purchased a used 2005 Nission and have a loan of $15K would I still be about to File BK Ch 7 and keep my car.

Are you filing on your own? If so, please at least get a very good book on the subject, and it MUST be after October 2005.

Otherwise, any bankruptcy attorney could answer your question at your initial consultation.

Basically, the answer MAY be yes -- it depends on the value of your vehicle (you can check www.kbb.com online) and also the value of your other possessions.
