Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
chapter 7
My father is 83, he has a living trust for me and my sister. I have power of attorney for him. I write his checks, pay bills, ect. I now need to file bankruptacy because I have no job or income for my family. My lawyer says there could be a problem with me signing checks on my dad's account. It's not my money, I do not use it for myself. Why would this be a problem?

Re: chapter 7
I'd be happy to take a look at the trust document, since we are close (I'm in San Rafael). What the trust says is important, to protect the trust assets. - John Vos
