Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Chapter 13
I'm leaving for the Army at the end of Feb or March and I need to know if I have to be at the court hearing for this. I'm married and I have been told that my husband and Attorney can repersent me in court. Is this true?

Re: Chapter 13
The court will most likely approve such a request from someone who is outside of the court jurisdiction due to active duty in the military. Make the request right away and don't leave it for the last minute. Your attorney should be familiar with how to handle this, or if not can find out by calling the trustee.
