Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Checking Account
I am considering bankruptcy- chap 7. I am recently married, but all of my debt is my name only and I will be filing individually. We do have a joint checking account at a bank. How will this be affected? We have debit cards that we use for this account. Should we have seperate accounts?

Re: Checking Account
separate would be better but it doesn't necessarily solve the problem. Whether or not it will be an issue depends on numerous factors beyond the scope of this forum.
