Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Can my child support arears be temporarily stopped while I file for chapter 13 and if so how? I would still pay child support but need my arrears stopped to help pay for trustee monthly payment??

San Diego Bankruptcy Attorney Your child ongoing child support obligation cannot be stayed by the filing of a bankruptcy. However if part of your current child support payment is a back amount that you owe, that amount should be paid in the plan.
