Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
I had claimed chapter 7 bankruptcy over 4 years ago;
I have been named in a lawsuit along with a thousand
others in my old R.E. company. it was started 6-8 years ago...
a name infringement. Can I amend my bankruptcy and add this
lawsuit?

You might want to seek legal advice from an experienced bankruptcy attorney. The first thing you might want to do is send the plaintiff a copy of the bankruptcy discharge and request that you be dismissed from the case. In actuality, whether reopening the bankruptcy will help, I can't say with the limited facts. If it's alleged you intentionally caused harm to another entity, then that might be litigated in bankruptcy court, or the plaintiff could seek relief to pursue the matter in state court. As you can see, this is a complicated matter that requires more information and consideration.
