Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
My company is going to file bankruptcy and restructure the company. Looks like they will not need my services after that. They owe me over 50,000.00 in profit sharing by agreement that we signed when I joined the company. I have been with the company for 9 years and they haven't paid me the profit sharing for 7 years. What are my options?

It doesn't sound like the company's profitable since it's filing for bankruptcy protection. You would want to make a written claim when you are sent the notice of the bankruptcy. You might consult with an attorney since the amount in question seems substantial enough to justify the cost.
