Unfortunately, they are entitled to charge interest on child support arrears and if those charges were not paid pursuant to your Ch. 13 plan, they will need to be paid outside of the Ch. 13 (i.e. they are not dischargeable).

Child support is not dischargeable in bankruptcy.
