Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Court Date
If I am unable to make it to my bankruptcy court date, can I send someone in my place? and who do I talk to in order inform the court that I can not make it? I will be Memphis for two weeks during that time on a business trip. But I want the bankruptcy to go through. Please answer my question. Thank You

I assume you are referring to the Trustee's Meeting, which is not a court. You need to refer to your local bankruptcy rules regarding procedures for obtaining a continuance and the policies regarding failure to appear. I would suggest contacting the Trustee and requesting a continuance.
