Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Credit after Bankruptcy (non-US Cetizin)

I went to school in the states. I had an EXCELENT credit history during my school years. Suddenly, I had to leave the US. I lost contact with all my creditors (credit cards only) until a bankruptcy was filed for me !! ..

Now, after 4 years, I may go back to the states for school again. What is the future of my credit will be !? can I get credit cards again ?! Can I rent appartments and cars ..etc. !?

What can I do to solve the prblem.

The bankruptcy will remain on your credit record for up to 10 years from the date the case was filed. Getting new credit cards is rarely a problem. Have you tried? You seem to be asking how you can solve the "problem" but it's not clear to me that you even have one. You can rebuild your credit by making payments on a loan on time and other common sense things. There are attorneys and organizations who specialize in rebuilding credit and you may want to contact them.
