Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

RE: creditors and bankruptcy

In 2000, I filed bankruptcy, chapter 7, and the court included my student loan in the settlement. A year later, the lender for the student loan contacted me to say that student loans cannot be discharged. I told them that I couldnt pay, and they suggested that I consolidate. I did, but have had the loan on economic hardship 7 times since. I just realized that the student loan was included in the bankruptcy from a credit report. Can you tell me what I should do next?

In most cases a BK will not discharge student loans, even if you listed the loan in your BK filings. The only way to get rid of it in BK is to show "undue hardship". Showing undue hardship is (almost) impossible, however.
