I received a notice and order fixing deadline to object. It states Last Day to file an objection 12/21/2007. But the adversary proceeding was filed on January 22, 2008. The questions is which day is the last day they can file an objection. The date listed on the commencement paper work showing 1/22/2008 or the order fixing the deadline to object thereto 12/21/2007. Or are they two different things.

The date of 12/21/07 is the last day for creditors and/or the trustee to objection to the property exemptions that you claimed on Schedule C. The date of 01/22/08 is the last day for a creditor to file an adversary proceeding to object to your discharge if a particular debt.

Your previous question on this topic stated that the creditor filed the AP on 01/22/08 and was therefore timely filed. If you don't have a BK attorney, you definitely need one now to discuss how to respond to this matter.
